For me, what it boils down to is alignment. All successful entrepreneurs I know are very grounded in who they are and what they are trying to create in the world. They remain flexible and adaptable because life and business require it, but in their actions honor the essence of their project and the legacy they want to leave behind.

Being a female in the world of entrepreneurship requires lot of adaptability -- an ability to respond easily to the demands of the moment and thrive in moments of pressure that call for instant response.

In addition to adaptability, empathy is a must -- especially the ability to anticipate the needs of others. You might not always agree, but always try to understand.

There are many factors that can affect your success as an entrepreneur. But two key factors would be to focus on consistent execution and don’t believe all the ‘hype’.  

Owning your own business gives you flexibility in your schedule, which is what often drives people to start their own business. Therefore, having a consistent approach to prioritizing and executing tasks becomes critical to building your business.  

In addition, being an entrepreneur creates a level of anxiety -- there is a lot of pressure on you as a founder.  When looking at competition or industry marketing, make sure you don’t let other’s ‘success’ stories overwhelm you. Stay focused on your business vision, as that focus and execution are critical to your success.
